Here at Joyful Soles, we believe that God gave us the greatest gift, Jesus as our Savior. He is the reason we work hard, perform, and do what we do. Our classes are encouraged to pray, use worship music, and encourage each other with biblical truths. Our productions point to the good news of Jesus Christ.
Psalm 149:3 “Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp.”

Here at Joyful Soles we offer classes in dance, fitness, musical theatre, and vocal instruction for many different ages and skill levels.
For dance, we offer a wide variety of styles, including Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Hip Hop, Irish, Acro Dance, and Preschool Dance.
For fitness, we offer Barre, Pilates, and Stretch & Strength.
Our musical theatre class combines dance, acting, and performance.
We also provide voice lessons to those who want to strengthen their vocal abilities.

We’ve divided our dancers by age and skill level. Dancers wishing to take classes labeled “Intermediate” or Level I and higher, need approval from our director and instructors before attending. Divisions ARE NOT set in stone. If a younger student demonstrates mastery of the skills their age group offers, they may test into older, more advanced classes. Additionally, if a student needs increased technique, they may be asked to attend a class at a lower level or age category.
All dancers must have teacher approval and be registered before attending classes.
-
A dancer’s transition to a more advanced level is unique to each student. The amount of time spent in any level is directly related to the amount of effort they put into class and how quickly they apply the corrections given by their instructor. When a dancer demonstrates mastery of the techniques required for the level they attend, they may, with teacher approval, move to the next level.
We typically review our dancer’s progress and determine placement in the fall and beginning of summer.
